Texas Set to Bring Volley of Lawsuits Against Biden Administration: Texas will take action whenever federal government encroaches on states' rights, or interferes with constitutional rights, or private property rights, or the right to earn a living

With President-elect Joe Biden set to assume office and two newly-elected Georgia Democrat senators poised to be sworn in on Wednesday, Texas Republicans are preparing to mount a flurry of legal challenges to push back against the incoming administration’s progressive agenda.

The Biden administration has signaled a left-leaning agenda on energy, taxes, immigration, health care, and other priorities. Biden has vowed to rejoin the Paris Climate Accord and take far-reaching steps on climate change, including seeking to cut greenhouse gas emissions by half by 2030 and effectively ending them by around 2050, sparking existential fears from the fossil fuel industry, a key economic pillar for Texas.

Biden has also proposed sweeping immigration reform that would create a pathway to citizenship for more than 11 million illegal immigrants, and plans to roll back Trump’s corporate tax cuts and raise income tax.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, who while serving as the state’s attorney general famously proclaimed, “I go into the office, I sue the federal government, and I go home,” said on Saturday that the Biden White House can expect a spate of legal challenges from the Lone Star state.

“A new crop of Texas-led lawsuits awaits Joe Biden’s White House,” Abbott wrote in a Saturday tweet.

“Texas will take action whenever the federal government encroaches on states’ rights, or interferes with constitutional rights, or private property rights, or the right to earn a living,” Abbott added.

The Lone Star state sued the administration of former President Barack Obama dozens of times to stop initiatives such as the Clean Power Plan or to end the Affordable Care Act, the signature health plan known as Obamacare.

The conservative Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF), which filed the Affordable Care Act challenge that is now before the U.S. Supreme Court, is gearing up for a flurry of legal challenges.

And the courts will shoot them down for no standing. Roberts the closet homo, party-boy Kavenaugh, and Amy Conehead Barrett will rubber stamp it when they do.

I hope Texas is prepared for the deep state blowback

Coordinated Media attacks on their “racist” administration.

Local leftist ridicule, elitist condescension

select leftist brownshirt street agitation or outrages against the homes of TX politicians

Non-stop Federal court and DOJ harassment of policies

FBI investigation and manufactured charges of corruption

We have seen how the game is played. Be ready.

How about Anchor baby Harris can’t be President

Let's be real here, Uncle Sniffy is Kamala's anchor baby, to assure her eventual (matter of months? weeks?) presidency. Whether we here at FR consider it legitimate or not, her ass will sit in the big chair in the oval office, sooner or later, and it does no good to deny that reality.

Texas will have no standing, doesn’t anybody learn anything. Texas needs to hold back all payments it makes to the Federal Government, that will get their attention.

Then they shut the pipelines going to the East Coast. NYC is a pretty cold place with no heating oil or gas.

Good to hear, but good luck with the corrupt judges that seem to permeate our judicial system.

Filed in Federal Court. There is an inherent conflict of interest here. Federal Courts deciding scope of federal power. “Yep, the federal government has that power.”
