Fake news, I reckon.
I thought Trump’s speech called for unity and purpose not just within the MAGA movement but across all American citizens regardless of their tribal political leanings. He explicitly called out his background as outside of established politics.
If he is forming a new party I’d put money on it striving to avoid definition of itself as a tribal political outfit - so, not Conservative, not Liberal, not Democrat, and not Republican.
For that reason I don’t think Patriot Party fits the bill. Patriotism is demonstrated by stepping up, not by expressing a political opinion. It is perfectly possible according to Trump for anybody of any political persuasion to be a patriot, and he doesn’t expect the whole country to convert to Trumpism before they can be called patriots.
This is the opposite of what tribal MAGA conservatives will want to hear. They want Trumpism to be the benchmark of patriotism.
If it is true Trump is forming a new party, the indications are that he wants it to refocus government on serving the people, the Constitution, the Republic and its founding principles.
National Constitutionalism is a bit wordy, but that’s the proposition.
That is precisely why "Patriot Party" is the best choice.
