House conservatives have garnered more than 115 signatures for their petition aimed at ousting House GOP Conference Chair Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) from her leadership position in the wake of voting in favor of impeaching President Trump for inciting a riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6, a senior GOP aide told The Hill on Tuesday.

Matt Rosendale (R-Mont.) - has more than enough signatures to force a special conference meeting where proponents of the effort are looking for a debate and a vote be held on a resolution calling on Cheney to resign from her role at the leadership table. The signatures make up more than half of the entire House GOP conference.
Critics of Cheney's vote on impeachment argue that the timing of her announcement, which came a day before Wednesday's vote on impeachment, provided Democrats talking points to go after Republicans.
"Rep. Cheney did not consult with the rest of our conference before supporting impeachment," Rosendale tweeted last week.

With her appearance, she looks like she is aiming to be the pantsuited heir to cankles. Her politics seem to be going in that direction as well.
Yes indeed.
OMG, lol!
Temember how they fought and made promises diring the obama years.. when they has a chance to keep the promises they folded. Kabuki.
On principle I am against Affirmative Action jobs. But if this one HAS to go to a woman by their rules, it'd be great to see it go to one of those dozen or more newly-elected, strongly pro-Life GOP women.
I changed my political affiliation on my voter registration today. I am no longer a Republican. I am unaffiliated.
Can’t recall Representatives.
First step is cleaning up election laws and getting rid of voting machines in the states with Republican legislatures that have been corrupted. Then primary them all.
You’ve been posting a lot of Retardican bullschitt all over this blog about what the GOPee needs to do to save itself. My God, man, wake the hell up! The GOPee didn’t lift a g-ddam finger to Stop The Steal when the crisis was upon us. Worse, practically every rotten one of them, 42 senators and half the congressmen, voted to roll over and accept the monstrous electoral fraud, thereby abnegating the votes of over 80 million of their own constituents. The death of the Constitutional Republic is now a sad and forlorn reality. The GOPee simply must be terminated with extreme prejudice. Besides, there will never be another legitimate election again in the new American tyranny we now must suffer under. Eff the GOPee! And the Marxocrat donkey it rode in on!
Maybe Dick will take her bird hunting.
At this point, what does it matter?
4. Prevent Senator Mitch McConnell from becoming Senate Minority leader and replacing him with Senator Ted Cruz.
This needs to move from #4 up to #1.
Are you sure you want Cruz the Senate majority leader? I don’t see him as a majority leader after what happened in the 2016 primary.
No hearings, no defence, no evidence and this idiot daughter of Dick Cheney wants to hang someone. She is not worthy of a job as a crossing guard.
Over half the GOP Reps means McCarthy, the RINO does not have the
votes to keep her in leadership.
I really wish I had taken more time to consider why my Frankfurtt school Political theory professor told me he really liked Cheney back in 2000..
That's it? That's not even a good push in the right direction. They have lost ALL credibility and shown their true colors. They deserve to go the way of the dodo.
Well, bye!
It’s a beautiful thing!
I want to see her running out of the conference room in tears and then capture it on camera for the world to see what happens to traitors, to start.
It could be argued successfully that the GOPe was very likely the primary cause and origination of this vector for disposing of the best President in our lifetimes.
The best, next to Reagan... and Nixon.
Conservatives everywhere HATE the GOPe.
