While I have no doubt that different variations on the theme might be better or worse — what I’ve looked for is the 5% that gives me 95% of the effects — and that is good enough for my purposes. I’m not a perfectionist or purist — because I’m simply interested in that low-hanging fruit (5%) that provides with most of the benefits — so that my cost to benefit ratio is a slam-dunk why not?

I was just asking if you use the pre-diluted H2O2 with its additives or 35% Food Grade. I wonder if the latter can be even cheaper than store bought H202 after diluting it it down (1 and ¼ cups of 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide with 14 and ¾ cups of water).

As primarily a bodybuilder most of my 70+ years of life, while my peers were asking how can I give 110%, or other such nonsense — which of course makes many vulnerable to premature heart and other failures of the human body, I asked the much more valuable question of what 5% of any doing, gives one 95% of the results — and move on to identify the next 5%, because moving from 95% to 96% will usually require twice the expenditure of effort for a barely negligible increased benefit.

I do not really understand this, but for years I often played hard heart-pounding sports with teens and kids in the neighbor, plus shoveling snow, thanks be to God (though at almost 69 my arthritis leaves me sore), but I thought that such could help make one less vulnerable to premature heart and other failures.

It might be that one can dilute 35% hydrogen peroxide 1:10 parts filtered water to obtain 3% much cheaper — but the problem is that it is not as widely available for most people, and vaping 35% might be toxic — whereas I know you can vape 3% with virtual safety except for slight eye irritation — which is no worse than irritation from other allergens.

And then after prolonged 3%, one notices that one experiences diarrhea similar to what one experiences taking antibiotics or antifungals — because it is killing off the gut bacteria as testament to its effectiveness. But you don’t want that effect for too long to persist because then you have the problem of irritable bowel syndrome — but at least you know why that is occurring, and will stop as soon as you stop vaping the 3% dilution.

But then your original problem returns — which in this case, was that there was no effective treatment for overwhelming dog (bad) odors — because that is the range of effectiveness that eludes even the HEPA air filters. But then if you run both, then you have unprecedented air purity — because you’ve addressed the greater range of air pollution.

I’ve always been more aware and sensitive to these things than most people — and so if the additives in the cheapest grade of peroxide was bothersome, I would next address that issue — but it seems to be a non-issue with vaping but would absolutely be necessary for other applications — like injecting or ingesting — which requires a higher level of purity, as well as properly trained supervision.

But with simply breathing hydrogen peroxide vapor — there are far worse things to breathe than the additives — which are all those allergens, bacteria, fungus, viruses, mold, mildew, smoke, etc. I’m looking for the 5% that gets me 95% of those benefits.

One of the greatest misconceptions of the benefits of exercise, is that one is doing it primarily to benefit and strengthen the heart — when the opposite is true. What benefits most greatly are the skeletal muscles at the extremities of the body that many do not work at all, and so blood merely pools there — accumulating toxins rather than eliminating them.

The heart doesn’t need to be forced to work — because it always works — pumping blood into wherever there is less resistance. Because if the blood never leaves the extremity, the heart cannot pump more blood into that space already occupied by fluid. Instead, one has to effect a contraction at the extremity that produces the compression to move that stagnant blood back towards the heart — and that optimizes the circulation that keeps one healthy, and toxins from accumulating in the extremities causing the pain and destruction of arthritis.

The objective of exercise is not simply to make the heart work harder — but the larger objective of optimizing the circulation that keeps the body healthy. Shuffling the feet while “walking” miles is not as effective as simply standing still and articulating the foot movement as much as possible at the ankle (heel or toe raise) while essentially standing in one place — because producing that contraction pushes the blood forcefully back towards the heart, and on relaxation, creates space for the heart to pump blood into the space (vacuum).

But simply pumping more vigorously into the resistance of the blood that is not deliberately evacuated in that understanding, simpler makes the heart work harder for no good purpose — which results in the observation of longtime exercisers of having enlarged, weakened hearts.
