The name “Country Music” should be retired. REAL country music came from a lifestyle that no longer exists and those who call themselves country musicians now have no more knowledge of that lifestyle than they do of the life of a civil war soldier. For them to attempt real country music is as absurd as it would have been for Johnny Cash to make a rap album.
