I’m guessing McConnell will convict Trump. It’s his last term in the Senate.
I suspect that’s a 50-50 proposition. The only reason he might vote to convict Trump is if he thinks Trump will upend the GOP again in 2024. But that could happened even if he is convicted, and I’m sure McConnell knows that.
