Yes I’m sick of the half mast for every Tom, Dick, and Harry too.
Yes. And I don’t in any way belittle the guy’s death.
But we have people whose deaths are just as significant and even more so, dying in the service of our country.
The only reason this guy is honored in this way is because he is a political football.
If you told me that the flag was at half mast today because of the death of our Democracy, that would be far more fitting.
