If Fox News wants to restore its cable news ratings dominance, changes will have to be visible far lower in its organization than what is being reported.
Though I was angry over its election night coverage and have been dismayed at the behavior of a number of its on-air personalities, I take no joy in the ratings crisis that seems to be engulfing Fox News. For all its faults, its reach, resources, and stable of outstanding talent like Tucker Carlson make it an essential voice in a nation with a media scene that is getting scarier by the day. There is no doubt in my mind that, if FNC disappeared or lost its cable system distribution, as at least one of its rivals seems to be advocating, conservatism would be in a much weaker position.
Yesterday, The Daily Beast published an article with four authors, one of them a departed FNC staffer who charged sexual harassment and settled for an undisclosed sum, claiming:

My hatred of Paul Ryan runs pretty deep.
I consider him the lynchpin of all of this crap we are seeing today. Simply put, a republican TRAITOR who sold us out to China, along with Romney and Juan McAmnesty.
He “tanked” the 2018 election, and actively worked against Trump when he was Speaker. He needs to be the first departure from Fox, before anyone else.

They certainly did. A major role.
Their “task” was to manage the reporting to give the impression that Trump was never in the lead. Had the real numbers been reported it would have shown Trump strongly positioned to win and they couldn’t allow that because they knew the fix was in and wanted it to appear that Trump was trailing all night. That helped to effectively buy time for the manipulation later that evening and ultimately to make Biden’s “win” appear likely.
Fox’s problem is that there were so many irregularities, obvious manipulation, and violations of laws that none of Fox’s viewers believe Biden won.
Its interesting that Fox didn’t learn a thing from the Meghan Kelly fiasco. They are going to pay a huge price for their stupidity, arrogance and blatant bias. Their once loyal viewers will never forget or forgive.

It’s sweet music to my ears. .The best thing that could possibly happen to conservatism is for foxnews to be bankrupt before the end of the year. The sooner the better. Boycott their advertisers endlessly until foxnews is no more.
Hiring Trump might be a start for about 50 million a year might get some eyeballs.

Paul Ryan also tanked his own election as VP because he was a nothing burger.
Then he weaseled his way into House Speaker while pretending he wasn’t interested.
Thereupon he played obstructionist and cost the agenda precious time under Trump.
I've moved on to alternative sources of news (RSBN, OANN) and I'm liking it. I'm not going back.
