Well it doesn’t frigging help when Mitch McConnell insults the whole dang country with his stupid “Socialism for the rich” line.
You want “Socialism for the rich?” Try student loans among other things. That crap needs to be forgiven ASAP for everybody, and the program halted. Tuition rates will go back down in a hurry to a livable amount. And Liberal White professors (the non-adjuncts) will have to make it on less.
It would be better, IMO, to simply have student loan debt as easy to discharge in bankruptcy proceedings as other forms of debt. Right now, that’s almost impossible, to the detriment of numerous young people snookered by the college-industrial complex.
