But they’ve got to know that ultimately 10s of millions of conservatives will migrate to more open (ie. Conservative) discussion services. Gab, FR, bitchute, etc. etc.. They can’t shut them all down. It won’t happen overnight but it will happen faster than the tech oligarchs think. Which of course will lead to a more polarized society. While we will have to suffer a few kooks on our side in the name of free speech, they will live in a complete echo chamber, ready to immediately and summarily ban anyone who challenges the party narrative. Strange days.

They will also turn on each other. For the left, orthodoxy is always ever-changing. Nothing ever gets solved because they need the perpetual crisis to sustain their hatred and their movement. They will alienate the small-L libertarians and the few honest liberals.
