The 147 Republicans Who Still Voted To Overturn The Election After The Capitol Siege
huffpost ^ | 01/11/2021 | Jennifer Bendery

They repeated Trump’s lies about widespread fraud as he incited supporters to violently attack Congress and democracy. Why are they still in office?

It sounds like a scene from a dystopian movie, but it was a real day in Washington, D.C.

On Wednesday, throngs of President Donald Trump’s supporters violently stormed the Capitol, incited by the president himself, with plans to kill House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Vice President Mike Pence and others to stop them from certifying President-elect Joe Biden’s win. They smashed and stole federal property. They attacked police and journalists. They sent hundreds of lawmakers into hiding. Five people died. And the death toll could have been so, so much worse.

And yet, hours later, dozens of the same lawmakers who hid during the attempted coup returned to the House and Senate floors and voted just as Trump wanted them to: to overturn the election results in his favor, based on lies about widespread voter fraud.

There will be countless investigations into what happened that day and why it was so easy for white supremacist insurrectionists to break into the Capitol and potentially carry out a massacre. Why it took so long for federal law enforcement to respond. Who these domestic terrorists are and how their plan came together.

But one of the most egregious attacks on democracy happened in plain sight and requires no investigation: It was when these 147 Republican lawmakers cast their votes.

Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) introduced a resolution on Monday to expel those who had tried to overturn the election on the grounds that they violated the 14th Amendment.

Here are the names of every Republican senator and member of Congress who voted to sustain objections to certifying the electoral results in two states where Trump lost, Arizona and Pennsylvania, despite no evidence of fraud. The full House tallies for each vote are here and here; the Senate votes are here and here.

Looks like another far-left white anti-American Marxist Lesbian — the kind that founded Black Lives Matter.

Michael Waltz, my critter, is NOT on the list. He replaced Desantis, and is nowhere near as good. Plus, he loves endless wars.

Well Congressman Mike Waltz (R-FL06) is NOT on this list!

His staff ignores e-mail questioning his failure to support our President on 1/6/2021.

Congressman Mike Waltz is another military war pig that voted against President Trump’s withdrawal of troops and supports Liz Cheney.

Congressman Mike Waltz’s area is just below St. Augustine to below Port Orange and west to above Orlando. If you live in this area you are most likely Republican, does Mike Waltz deserve your vote again?

My family will not support Mr. Waltz again nor should anybody in FL-06. We need a primary opponent to dump Waltz!

This is the list of Republicans you start courting to leave the Republican Party and join the New Party (MAGA). You’d have a three way split between a majority Democrat control but the R and M would split the minority. Over several cycles (yes, it’ll take time and it will be painful in the interim but it would be necessary and well worth it in the end)....more and more Rs (maybe even a very small % of the Ds) would switch over to the M party which in turn would over take the Republicans as the second largest party. Eventually, the Republicans will disappear into the dust bin of history and one day the Ms will gain the majority because the Democrats will not be able to help themselves from screwing things up royally. It’s either this or secession or civil war (2). The current status quo is total insanity!!!

These 147 understood the election was stolen. They did not condone the leftist false flag operation. Which ultimately will be exposed.

One of my Senators made the list. I sent an e-mail suggesting that they set up a Patriots’ Defense Fund (PDD) for their members. I promised that I would contribute $1,470.

I would rather contribute to the Patriots’ Defense Fund than to the NRSC or the NRCC. First of all it helps the patriots directly. Secondly it sends a message. If the PDD rakes in more money than the NRSC or the NRCC, the Republican party leadership would get a message that even they could not ignore.

If you think that is a good idea, feel free to contact the politician(s) of your choice.

To: Jenny:
They did not vote to overturn an election. They voted to right a wrong. Of course you know that. And it was your people who stole it. But the Bible says whay you sow, you also reap So enjoy it while you can. The reaping will be bountiful and bitter, Ask former Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. It is not nearly as funny now to allow and enable unborn babies to be murdered as it was when you were doing it, is it?

This was not a siege.

A siege is when enemy forces surround a town or building, cutting off supplies, with the aim of compelling surrender by attrition.

This was an assault.

So much misinformation. I though the vote was to allow a complete audit of the results as opposed to overturning it?

Not sure what to believe at this point.
