You actually think there will ever be a fair election again? Seriously? Oh they'll play the game and campaign but who is elected will not be who we chose.

I was reading the 1856 Republican platform. Guess what one of their platform issues was:

Fair elections.

The solved the problem—at a great cost—but they solved it.

Our nation has a history & tradition of fair elections. I think it is something we can claw back, but it won’t be easy and it won’t be painless.

At some point we’ve got to try.
