I voted for Trump, but I've never considered myself a "Trumper", have never been to one of his rallies, and wouldn't consider going. But the Dems and Bush/Romney wing of the party lost me permanently in terms of a willingness to be cordial with the way they behaved since 2016. If they don't believe in respecting the results of elections, why should we?
Point is, they can reach out all they want. They just shouldn't be shocked when a lot of us feel more like chopping off that hand that rather shaking it.
I can relate. I have been an America First Republican, not a Trumper. I always believed the movement was larger than one man. I have defended Trump when called for and criticized when he deserved it like the omnibus spending, COVID messaging, the whining & various tweets. On the merits he deserved reelection more than most presidents in my lifetime. I am very upset there’s so much still to be done and that so much will be undone by Biden & the cabal that brought peace, prosperity, freedom, dignity, safety and fairness to all Americans.
