Meanwhile back at twitter, fakebook and google, iran still uses big tech as a base for their anti-Semitism
Not good.
Parler- I hardly knew ya! I got an account and then kaput.
This isn’t really hacking. It’s screen-scraping which any user could do.
Duh.
Me too. Maybe we were lucky!
Why? I was posting daily and I never saw violent posts. If they were there someone would have to know exactly where to look. Good grief, terrorists organized on Facebook.
Read it all and check other sites. The hacker got 80 terabytes. Search Parler. Ars technica and Wired cannot be posted on FR due to copyright complaint.
You’ve never been on Twitter have you?
I stand by what I post.
I change to my real name for that reason.
If the Left want to archive and keep my post for generations to read......I’m proud.
If the Leftist want to come for me.......come. Let’s get this party started.
Agreed. This feels like a setup frankly. They required a phone number and didn’t scrub metadata on pics. Will never do Parler.
Guarantee you they’d find 1000 times more on Twitter, Facebook, and Google-owned YouTube, so will they investigate them too?
This statement should immediately make us suspicious. This story could be a plant to discredit Parler and shape public opinion for the inevitable lawsuits. I also don't trust that that the data was legally scraped. Or that it wasn't tampered with.
The first sentence of the article refers to the wake of the insurection? Stopped reading right there, that indicates the article is likely BS.

Is anyone able to get on Parler? I thought it was supposed to be working yesterday but I haven’t been able to get on in two days.
The point is that security of Parler was bad, in fact amateurish. They used security as a selling point and that was not true.
More bs is my first thought. The lies never stop with these lefties. I wouldn’t put it past them to make things up. The thought police are on it.
Evidently, once some of the companies dropped their association with Parler it left the doors open to this hacking. Criminal as far as I am concern.
