Future? The GOP is already finished. The one bit of comic relief in this tragedy is all of the GOP turncoats who actually believe that by betraying Trump, they’ve saved the party. They’re like someone who hacked off their own leg with an axe, because their leg had an annoying itch. And as they bleed out and their vision fades, the last thing they are heard to say is, “Ah, much better! I finally got rid of that itch.”
