At this point, the new Dems states would seem to be fait accompli. I’ve seen arguments that the GOP could filibuster (if that’s still around). Even if the GOP has the guts to filibuster the new states (which is hardly a certainty IMO), the Dems could insert the statehood bills into the filibuster-proof budget reconciliation bill that only requires a simple majority.

He’s going to break the filibuster so that the other new Democrat senators can make the votes that will get him defeated in his next election.

Grant them independence not statehood.

Sure is for the U.S.-— they are bankrupt, perfect for the Marxists of Europe or the Cuban communists to suck drier.

How about we make DC a state on the condition that West Virginia is merged back with Virginia.

“I remember when he was trying to calm everyone by saying he wasn’t going to vote for the far-left agenda even if they took the Senate, but I suppose they got to him too.”

They didn’t have to “get to him”. He has ALWAYS been ONE OF ‘“THEM”. He just has a knack for fooling people.

And he is photog’d spending a lot of time... in Italy. Very interesting to the union working people of coal country. This guy is a massive FRAUD, walking talking f-tard. Even the bluest dems in the state hate him. Even Chuck Yeager (RIP).

That is all that the parasitic capital city needs, 2 senators to grab more power.

It is impossible because it is unconstitutional. It’s not by accident or oversight that the nation’s capital isn’t a state: The Founding Fathers wrote it into the Constitution. Article I, Section 8 provides explicitly for a national capital that would not be part of a state nor treated as a state, but rather a unique enclave under the exclusive authority of Congress — a neutral “district” in which representatives of all the states could meet on an equal footing to conduct the nation’s business.

West Virginia is merged back with Virginia

The creation of West Virginia was unconstitutional.

Joe Manchin could retire in 2024 if the Democrats make a lucrative deal with him. So he wouldn’t care whar people of West Virginia thinks of him.

Let’s trade Minnesota and New York to Canada for Manitoba and a province to be named later.

They can vote for that, but I believe it requires two thirds of the States to ratify. That means Red States would have to agree or it cannot happen.

I know Puerto Ricans that do not understand why they need to be a State. They do not necessarily want that.

Here we go.
The Senate is now gone forever from the GOP-e.
All because they sat on their behinds since 1988 doing nothing
