I've thought about us old curmudgeons in that way. For a year and a half I have exercised five days a week. For a while now, I have run over two and a half miles a day on a 12 percent incline. The program on my smartwatch indicates I have the pulmonary health of a 52 year old. If they ultimately give me nothing else to live for, I may "not go gentle into that good night."
I definitely will not go gently into that good night. I decided some time ago that I have in fact done everything I feel I need to do. Are there things I’d like to do? Sure. But if push comes to shove, I’ve got no problem going all in. None at all.
