The only reason I still have Farcebook is to keep in touch with far flung elderly relatives who can’t learn another platform.
But what I do is block any ad that comes up and when it asks why I tell FB that it was offensive LOL.

In the prison for people-who-know-too-much known as The Village, some of the inmates would deliberately talk up fake escape plots and other false information to confound the authorities (Episode: "It's Your Funeral"). Eventually, the regular warders just ignored whatever came out of "the Jammers"--which led to a blind spot in security.
Come to think of it, the real overlords of The Village manipulated some Jammers to engage in a real assassination plot against a retiring Warden (Number 2) in order to hose him and provide a pretext for a crackdown on the inmates.
