The GOP Senate isn’t going to convicted.
They want Biden to arrest Trump and tie him up in court for years. Stupidly, the GOP think that will fly after the bipartisan flavor of Spygate, Mueller coup and now steal. Hopefully, they saw what happened to Graham today and will come out forcefully against POTUS being arrested. If they don’t do that it’s guaranteed the Dems will take it as a green light to arrest Trump. And when that happens the country will burn.
I can’t for the life of me recall any DC politicians calling for the resignation of a single Mayor who encouraged BLM or Antifa riots. A single DA, who refused to prosecute drug crimes, or weapons charges against true insurrectionists on the left. Kamala Harris bailed looters and vandals of historical statues out of jail and fully supported them. Was she told to resign in disgrace? 5 years of DC riots on and off, Code Pink stormed the Capitol building, they were let in by the commies. What happened in DC on Tuesday, was less than every Commie riot, protest or occupation of the last few years even as far back as Occupy Wall Street.
Sorry, I’ll stick with President Trump.

I’ve since read that Alaska has adopted the Louisiana & California “Jungle” primary system where there are NO separate party primaries. I wonder why a state would go to that, other than to ensure one party rule.
I may have found a hint, the Dems control the Alaskan Senate while the Repubs control the house.
