Should be arrested and tried for First Degree Murder.

I’ll bet we never find out his identity. Publicly he’ll be reprimanded and privately he’ll be congratulated and given some award or cash bonus.
I’ve seen other reports on FR that referred to the shooter as a “police department employee”. Is this guy an active policeman or a civilian?
It is noted that the shooter was in civilian clothes at least a white dress shirt with what appeared to be cuff link cuffs.

What was she doing that warranted the officer drawing his gun on her? Or was it her gun. I noticed that any gendered pronouns are avoided in the story, at least as it relates to the shooter.
