its funny, US and Euroland both get crazy news reports about what its like to live in the other place.
And yet, I live here and travel to Europe 1-2 times a year, and know both reports to be false, or at the least grossly misleading. But this happens here too.... so called conservative talk radio vs liberal media, both report very misleading story angles for clicks.
I use as an example: Sweden. Here we think of Bernie Sanders vision of euro-socialism. Which is quite funny, as Sweden is one of the most de-centralized countries in Europe. Think of how they dealt with the Covid pandemic. They gave out advice, and told the public they should take precautions and decide which ones were right for themselves. The Swedish government isn’t responsible for your stupidity. Holland was very similar as well.
I believe Sweden just did a complete 180 and said they were wrong to have left freedom in place. Shutdowns save lives, like it or not.
