I think that Oklahoma Rep. Markwayne Mullin’s (R) appearance on Fox was to show the leadership that he can be a ‘good water carrier.’
I used to live and work in Mullin’s district, which is full of conservatives, and beyond them there are more than a few conspiracy theorists. I doubt he will be holding in town meetings in the near future.
