It seems to be a black male congressman.
French cuffs- with cufflinks.
Identifiable bracelet.
small (girlish) hands.
No secret service men would put their hands outside a broken window like that and blindly shoot at a crowd- there is no deadly threat- not trained.
There is a story that a DCP officer said he saw a congressmen (he didn’t identify) with a gun saying “I’m gonna get me one”
“He has gloves on, french cuffs and what appears to be a bracelet, and none of the other guys appear to have gloves on and a bracelet.”
He doesn’t have gloves on; he’s black.
A point-blank shot to the face is not a self-protection-trained shot. Center of mass is standard training. The shooter was in no danger.
That does not look like a DCP uniform.
I heard a DCP office say he saw a member of congress with a gun saying “I’m going to get me one” ... and he thinks that was the one who shot the girl.

I read earlier, source unknown, that an LEO on the scene reported that it was a congressman who fired - after saying: I’m going to get me one. The shooter doesn’t seem to be in a uniform.
I tend to believe this story than a trained lieutenant running up and shooting a preoccupied girl in the head.
Stop this video at :09. He is most definitely a white man with grey hair. Could be one in the above photos on the left. Look at his hairline.

Reread what you posted on - the member of congress is alleged to have the gun.
This last picture is NOT where she was shot. But now it looks like I see at least 5 weapons drawn near the barricade. All plain clothes. Secret Service?
“of the women and men of the United States Capitol Police...” Perhaps it is trivial but I don’t recall women mentioned first in such a sentence. I expect something like that out of Hillary Clinton or a lefty.

That is not where she was shot and might be where Mullin believes the shooting took place. That is the chamber is it not?
The hallway behind the doors where she was shot was empty. Just the shooter hiding in a coat room???
Which leads me to believe this was a “last stand” position. Not sure of timeline, but there may have been Congress critters hiding in the offices down the hall.
If he had only waited 1-2 seconds more, the cops behind Ashli would have grabbed her and threw her to the ground
Most likely SS. It appears the gun is strapped to his wrist as the guns are in the other picture of SS in the chamber
