There was one version claiming Hall had proof NASAA paid off then MLB commissioner Bowie Kuhn $5million to rig the 1969 baseball season so that the hapless hopeless last place Mets would rally just as Apollo 11 was set to take off and win the World Series so Another one, 1981 Goofy Gus had posters put up all over NYC claiming John Lennon to distract the public’s attention from the hoax. was murdered by the CIA. Amazing how many schmucks still believe that one.
