What’s ridiculous is that we’re still poo pooing this virus. It’s a blunder and this blunder cost us everything. Once again. You go ahead and keep poo pooing and crying about your mask. Pretty sure you’re gonna have more to cry about real soon. All of us will.

No, what is ridiculous is your line of thinking, about the same as Edith Bunker's.

I was one who thought the virus was hyped. Then my friend’s brother visited. Turns out his apartment up North had a case, and he brought it to us.

Out of ten of us here, all in close proximity between three houses, five of us caught his friend’s Covid.

It was mild for three of us. One was hospitalized for a day to get fluids and meds, the other is pretty sick but not yet hospitalized.

I was sick for three days with nausea, fever, coughing, and I was extremely weak, literally where I could barely move from my bed to the chair.

I’ve had the flu before where I was much sicker, and pneumonia where I was much sicker.

I have co-morbidities that I was afraid would kill me if I got Covid, the primary one being that my lungs are scarred from asthma, pneumonia and chronic bronchitis, but I’m slowly getting better.

Needless to say, I now totally believe in the virulence of this virus, for it to strike basically 50% of our small group of three family households.
