Indeed. He had his citizen army in Washington. He could have gotten up on that podium and said "my friends, the day I have long promised you has finally come. The Storm is upon them. Nothing can stop what is coming!" Instead he just recycled the same lines he's been using for the last few weeks and said nothing new. No arrests, no great revelations. And when the assembled Patriots stormed the Capitol in his name, he told them to go home. It certainly looks like snatching defeat from the jaws of victory to me.
