I still just wonder if it was a message and they knew who she was. She was apparently a career security professional in the military—I think 14 years.

I could be wrong, but I took that to mean she might have been assigned to Air Force Security Forces (what they used to call Security Police). This was my AFSC (MOS for you Army types) when I was in the Air Force.
