Obviously, you’ve never had to keep your eye on Clerk’s Office staff with an agenda to be sure they aren’t discarding ballots returned via mail by GOP voters. (That’s just one example.) I have. When mailed-in ballots are sitting around for weeks or days, there are too many opportunities for tampering.
In-person voting on Election Day is safest for your ballot if you truly care about your vote being counted.
