Just as I was only aware of one of these controversies, voters often have only heard one or two significant comments by a candidate. President Trump has said so many different things that it is possible for a lot of different things to be picked up and used or misused by the media. Regarding McCain, I specifically remember President Trump saying he did not consider McCain a hero, he liked people who did not get caught. Since at that time my son was, and still is, serving with Special Forces, all I could think of is how I would feel if my son was injured and captured and held under terrible conditions for 5 year, and then had to hear that comment.

Trump fired back at Wilson on Twitter, claiming she “totally fabricated” her account of his phone conversation with Myeshia.

Had to scroll way down to locate the purported offending remark (according to angry Democrats):
“He knew what he signed up for, but when it happens, it hurts anyway.”

Is it untrue? You and he must both know that it could happen, and would it not hurt? Are you expecting Trump to reanimate their dead son or something?

Two moslem Democrats came out at the DNC brandishing their dead son as a political tool and the problem is what, that he replied at all? Guess he should have just agreed with them, “oh yes, these two Democrats say I’m a bad person and, you know, their son was killed in action so they’re right, sorry everybody I have to drop out now and just let Hillary win.”

Seems the standard for controversies is whatever the Democrats say.
