There are demographic trends in some states that favor the democrats, but elections always are a contest between the candidates and good GOP candidates can still win. Even though AZ is trending more liberal, Governor Ducey won by 15 points in 2018, while I have no doubt that Trump actually beat Biden in votes by US citizens but lost because of the illegal immigrant vote in AZ. Kelly Loeffler has a very winnable election against a flawed opponent, but she’s not a very good candidate and she’ll probably lose.
Strong Republican women did very well in 2020 and that’s one place where the Republican party needs to look for more good candidates, along with more nationalistic business people like Trump.
The Georgia GOP Senate Candidates were poor, especially Loeffler. Trump tried, but there’s only so much you can do.
