Rep. Kay Granger has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, her office says.
Granger received her first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in December, Both vaccines currently being administered in the U.S. require two doses.
The Republican, whose district includes Fort Worth, was tested upon returning to Washington D.C. for the 117th Congress.
She began quarantining as soon as she heard of her positive result.
Her office says Granger is asymptomatic and feeling great.
Granger won her bid for re-election in November.
The Centers for Disease Control recommend that people wear a mask, practice social distancing, and wash their hands regularly even after receiving the vaccine.

“When she arrived in DC for the beginning of the 117th Congress, Congresswoman Kay Granger was tested for coronavirus in accordance with the Attending Physician’s guidance for Members when traveling from their home state. She was later notified that she tested positive and immediately quarantined. Having received the vaccine in December, she is asymptomatic and feeling great! She will remain under the care of the her doctor.”

It’s the virus. Not remnants. Viral RNA gets amplified.
This is why I hardly watch the news anymore, its all about ratings even if they have create fear mongering.
Watching news these days is little more than “opinion” columns. Nobody writing or reporting is interested in facts or truth.
The Pfizer vaccine does not contain neutralized virus, or any part of a virus.
Unfortunately that’s misinformed...
The 95% efficacy that’s being thrown around has literally nothing to do with immunity to the virus. What’s being touted is that after the second shot the vaccine is 95% effective in causing the creation of proteins that should trigger an immune response.
How effective that will be in protecting the vaccinated against the virus has not been determined.
Both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are estimated to be about 95% effective after two doses.
That means that 5 out of a 100 will still be able to get infected. That’s 75,000 people still able to be infected out of the 1.5 million or so that have been vaccinated so far.
Unfortunate for her, but a reminder that the vaccine won’t make us all invincible.

The rats have the perfect opportunity to off a few Pubes, with these injections! In those positions, I’d demand a God-fearing conservative doctor give the injection(s)!

LOL!! Which is why I'm not getting it. I'm going to die sometime anyway. And with me being the last member of my family left, the oldest who died at 74, and me being 73, what do I need the virus vaccine for? Let some liberal have it.
