Sorry, I do not follow this line of thinking. It will protect minorities exactly the same as non-minorities
Unless these people are implying that minorities are more likely to be criminals, but then that would be racist.
“Minorities” get shot by one another far more often than they are shot by licensed gun owners. This change won’t even make a dent in their homicide victimization rate.
