I count at least 19 for sure that will vote with Romney. Murkowski, Cotton, McConnell, Collins, Sasse, Portman, Toomey, Thune, Grassley, Blunt, Cornyn, Cassidy, Capito, Lee, Fischer, Rounds, Shelby, Wicker and Burr. This list is based on public statements they’ve made.
With these 20 voting with the Democrats, there is absolutely no way an objection will pass the Senate. And it’s my opinion that most of the remaining 19 who we don’t know about will also vote with Romney.
