They wanted this because they are cowards.

The GOP never wanted the responsibility of leading, they only wanted the benefits of being in Congres.

That's why Reagan won because of the Iran hostage crisis, Bush won because Tennessee knew not to vote for Gore, and Trump won because Hillary.

None of it was because of courageous Republicans. They were dragged into leadership, and then failed to deliver on the expectations of their base every time.

10000000000000% correct, truthful, and etched in stone.

Uniparty is not done guy on a monocycle entertaining at a child’s party.

The democrats and republican party have always and shall always be the two heads of the Cerberus.

We are brainwashed into thinking a third party cannot destroy the Republican party in elections at any level.

We are told by learned people that we cannot unseat Republicans

We are told that if we do have a third party they will become corrupted by the swamp like the Republican party is...

Hold on... What....so we cannot have a party apart from republican GOPe

If we do those that are in it will become as corrupt as the GOPe..

Yes, that’s the logic and level of insanity we are given to stop 70 million voters from destroying a corrupted political party and replacing it with one who’s rules of membership into elected positions are devised and agreed to with a limit of term. A transparent and audited income, and a clear message by the 70 million that if any of them feel like becoming a tractor to the will of the people their election can and shall be revoked.
To all, not you Jim, your correct.
————_—————————

Now try and tell me we got to bend over and vote for the Uniparty Ever again.

Bring realistic logical proof that continued voting for the party who screwed us will fix ANYTHING.

Or should we go back to voting for the Wigs....

Bring it.

I agree with Jim Noble on this, with a caveat-while there are clearly some who are cowards (there is no doubt on this) I believe it is a a mix that has our country in this state. The GOP is composed of the following components, in roughly this order (In my opinion):

  1. Those Republicans who are genuine cowards and are only concerned about the next election or about sticking out (In Japan, they have a saying that "The nail that sticks out gets hammered down)

  2. Those who are beholden to money trails, usually (but not always)leading to Communist China.

  3. Those who are directly beholden to Communist Chinese money.

  4. Those who personally dislike President Trump.

  5. Those who sympathize with Leftist principles and policies and would be Democrats under different situations

  6. Those who may be compromised in some way by personal actions and are susceptible to influence and pressure.

  7. Those who are going to stand up and fight on behalf of the Constitution and this Republic against this coup.

What is most discouraging about this is that I firmly believe that the very last, those who are going to stand up and fight, are outnumbered by every other class above them. I believe they are the smallest group.

If what we see and hear on Trump's (and the Constitution's) behalf, I have to believe that is true, and of all the things in the past five years that have really disillusioned me...it is that one thing. And it is why I take exception with part of the tenor of the article.

Trump is one of the very FEW, and is at the front of the people who have spoken out directly and acted forcefully against the foreign and domestic enemies of this country.

I appreciate the author's optimism that if Trump is indeed forced out, good things will come of it, but I am not inclined to think that is going to be the case. That is like saying being forced out of the frying pan and into the fire means you won't be eaten for dinner, as if that were a good thing in the end.
