BTW, I have the COMPLETE Gilligan’s Island Box Set of DVDs that has every show and subsequent movie. It also has the PILOT MOVIE that was never broadcast, that has a slightly different cast. It has Gilligan and Skipper and the Howells, but there is another married couple, one of which is a professor, but not Russell and a single woman instead of Mary Ann and Ginger.In the pilot episode - entitled "Marooned," and filmed just after the assassination of President Kennedy (that's why the flags in the marina seen during the intro, even for the "regular" series, are all at half-mast) - the "Professor" character was a mere high school teacher, but he is NOT married. And the two young women ("Ginger" and "Bunny") were BOTH secretaries.
I have the same box set.

Ginger would have been fun for a weekend but Mary Ann was one that you would keep until she dumped you. You don't have to worry about getting dumped by anybody because with your face you were never picked in the first place thus retaining your title as the Texas Incel.
