If Mr. Pence wants to be president in 2024, his best shot is as the VP of a successful 8-year Trump presidency. If Mr. Trump is cheated out of this, he will be savaged unmercifully (we haven’t seen anything yet, and Mr. Pence will be destroyed in the process.) Mr. Pence knows full well that Mr. Trump probably received in excess of 100 million votes, and if he wants those votes he should do all that he can to ensure Mr. Trump’s ultimate victory.

Pence is a lifelong establishment Republican. He is best friends with Paul Ryan. I read their emails from 2016 plotting to stop Trump at the convention. Pence will not lift a finger to try to keep Biden from taking office. Unless Trump has a plan to take executive action he might as well pack up and head for FL.
