Spanish Flu is H1N1. It’s in every flu shot given every year. Part of the mixture.
There is no presumption that it can’t still kill if antibodies forget about it, so the flu shots keep reminding them.

Yeah, about the same way a 1918 Ford Model-T series 3 “is a car”. And since cars are still on the road the 1918 Model-T series 3 is obviously still on the road.
