Rose Bowl officials announced Saturday that the College Football Playoff semifinal scheduled for the Rose Bowl will be moved to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The announcement came just hours after multiple outlets reported the Rose Bowl was denied a special exemption from the state of California to allow a few hundred fans to attend the College Football Playoff semifinal Jan. 1.
The CFP offices are located in suburban Dallas.

Excellent. CA. you’re just not that important.
I live about 2.5 miles from the Rose Bowl and I am glad to see it taken away. I am so DONE with the Politics from this State. They only understand lost revenues. That said, this is probably what they want. It ends up with lost revenues and lower rents and housing.
Leftists kill everything.
The State, Fed and Government is picking winners and losers.....
football in Texas = safe
football in California = not safe
People who vote for leftists kill everything.
The Rose Bowl in Texas, can’t make this stuff up.
But then again, Tyler TX is close to Arlington and they are known for growing roses.
A little of topic but I watched part of the Alabama-Florida SEC game tonight. One ad showed black people — of course, what ad doesn’t? — but the voice said that computers weren’t available to people of color and “people who identify as female.” What the heck is “people who identify as female? Women? Homosexuals who play the part of a woman? People who have operations to rid themselves of male organs? I mean, this is a bleeping football game. Liberals are psychotic and demonic. And how much more does this country or society have to do to elevate blacks or “people of color”? They don’t have access to cpmputers?!
How is the State of California not liable for lost revenue?
“...nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.”
Was that the Amazon ad? I heard that phrase as well and said something. We speculated it would be a UF ad, but I think it was Amazon. It was as crazy as the social distanced award presentation. Team couldn’t be on podium together after playing a game for four hours right up next to each other.
I am not sure. Though I don’t watch much TV, I switch or mute during ads only because of varying degrees of what I described. These companies allow advertisers to push boundaries. But between men kissing and all this other nonsense, good riddance.
Rose Bowl Pasadena was crap anyway.
Good in its day 100 years ago. Thats all.
GOOD!
Its such nonsense.
Saw some highlights of Denver-Buffalo complete with faux crowd noise and watched LSU-Ole Miss with actual people in the stands. The LSU game was much more enjoyable.
No one died or even coughed.
