Georgia announces signature matching review in all counties
Washington Times ^ | 17 Dec 20

Georgia officials on Thursday caved to requests for a statewide signature matching effort after President Trump’s campaign has repeatedly asked for the study since the Nov. 3 elections.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced a statewide effort to review signatures for absentee ballots in all of the state’s 159 counties. The move is an attempt to rebuild trust in the state’s election process.

The announcement comes less than three weeks before the Georgia Senate runoff elections on Jan. 5, which will determine what party holds the majority in the upper chamber.

Mr. Raffensperger announced the partnership with the University of Georgia in a press release on Thursday. The study will analyze a random sample of signatures for mail-in ballots during November’s presidential election.

The review will take a look at the signature matching efforts used across the state and include random samples from each county.

“We are confident that elections in Georgia are secure, reliable and effective,” Mr. Raffensperger said.

“Despite endless lawsuits and wild allegations from Washington, D.C., pundits, we have seen no actual evidence of widespread voter fraud, though we are investigating all credible reports. Nonetheless, we look forward to working with the University of Georgia on this signature match review to further instill confidence in Georgia’s voting systems,” he added.

“””Mr. Raffensperger announced the partnership with the University of Georgia in a press release on Thursday. The study will analyze a random sample of signatures for mail-in ballots during November’s presidential election.”””

This immediately does not pass the smell test.

All one has to do is to look at the results in Clark County to see how the University of Georgia voted in 2020.

Now if Raffensperger had said that he had entered into a partnership with FREE REPUBLIC to analyze the signatures, I would go to sleep tonight knowing all is well.

It doesn’t matter if they are 1 inch away. They will just dismiss their statements like the 100s of others.

This makes me “Falling Down” infuriated, except that I actually have something real to be infuriated about.

It is a scam. The whole, entire thing is kabuki theater.

The rumor is that Raffensperger is going to switch to the Dem party after the 1/5/21 Senatorial runoff election.

It’s a start and it’s better than nothing. But Raffensperger’s bloviation about “endless lawsuits and wild allegations” doesn’t give me confidence.

It would be technologically simple to place a camera over the shoulder of the reviewer so that monitors from both parties can verify the accuracy of signature verification.

They’re in hiding. They have all the power, but they’re afraid to use it, because they might be called “racist”.

Absolutely. You could easily zoom in to watch ballot signature matching. This is beyond insulting. There is probably some law against cameras and that is the only law the dems will uphold.

One more thing.

CPA’s are bound by many laws to accurately report information to government officials.

How about some outside auditors being the ones to pick a random sample from each county and then comparing signatures?

No CPA firm would ever allow anyone to cherry pick the information that were to analyze.

Raffensperger might fool some of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but he can’t fool all of the people all of the time.

Raffensperger is the poster child for the Republican Party scumbags.
