True, It’s a long shot. I think if he has any chance at all, they would have start arresting massive amounts of people. The evidence would have to be so overwhelming that the congress would be more afraid to vote for Biden than Trump. I don’t see any signs of that so far, but I’ll try to remain hopeful until the end.
This has been true since November 4.
There is no organized Republican opposition to Biden. None at all.
And I have zero doubt that the GOP Congressional leadership prefers Biden to Trump.
I am opposed to a military coup - and I'm mostly opposed to it because I believe Trump and possibly his family would be killed as a result.
But.
The only scenario where Trump stays in office is the dissolution of Congress by force majeure and loyal military forces making a fort of the White House, and I just don't see that happening.

With all due respect DoodleDawg, I don’t think we do. Trump has arrows in his quiver that he hasn’t even touched yet. Trump is not in the habit of losing. He doesn’t like to do it and he doesn’t do it very often. I can’t say if this will all be resolved by Jan. 6th, or if we’ll have to wait till Jan. 20th or later to see it resolved, but I think the odds of a Biden presidency are minimal at best.
