Republicans couldn't be happier with the outcome of the election.

They made gains in the House and in statehouses. They're set up good for redistricting next year. The 2022 midterm elections promises to be an opportunity to retake the House and shore up the Senate, --a Senate that they'll probably keep barring a catastrophe in Georgia. Biden will be able to get nothing accomplished without deep compromise.

And all of this plus they got rid of Donald Trump. Do not kid yourself. There's not a single elected GOP official who is mourning Trump's loss.

As far as they're concerned, the 2020 elections couldn't have been better.

Well put. This is a dream scenario for the Republican officials.

then they are even more stupid than they look, as Trump has vast numbers of voters who will never vote for the likes of McConnell, or most of the GoP.

Plus the Dems now have an open field to cheat as much as they like......and they will.

“Biden will be able to get nothing accomplished without deep compromise”

I would disagree with that statement. Senate Republicans have shown a penchant for giving in easily to Democrats because they are weak and are afraid of the MSM saying bad words about them. McConnell, Cornan, Graham, Sass et are cavers and always will be. The first indication of this is going to be Repubs rolling over and letting Biden put the most radical peoplen in his administration with nary a fight.

“Biden will be able to get nothing accomplished without deep compromise.”

Like they were prevented under the Obastard administration right?

Get some hind site Drew. The senate, if held by the “GOP” will be at least 20 to 80 in favor of the national socialists.
Its simple to figure out. Just go down the line and sort out the back stabbers in that chamber.

I agree. They think they won this battle. But they destroyed themselves. They see their selves as the heirs to the Trump voter. But they have no idea how badly they have damaged their party by stabbing Trump in the back.

Huge numbers of those Trump voters won’t return to support the Romney/Turtle/Rubio/Cornyn/Haley/Jeb/Graham party. They think they won, but they killed the party.

As if the RATS, after defrauding their way into taking back the House in 2018 with help from Paul Ryan and then massively defrauding their way into the Presidency in 2020, will suddenly retire the defrauding machine for 2022 and have fair elections again.

Paybacks to the GOP will be severe...Mitch will lose the Senate.

But they don’t care since the GOP is more comfortable in the minority anyway.

And for mid-terms they will be wiped out.

No more GOP $$$$.

Biden will be able to get nothing accomplished without deep compromise.

Biden will have the same pen and phone that Obama had and he will wield it and the courts will help him, like they have been doing for years.

Rush pointed that out this morning suggesting if Trump wanted he could take Mitch out by campaigning against the Republicans in the Senate run off race, which would take his leadership away from him. I would not fault him for it either, since we so easily gave the Republic away already.

Wall Street is euphoric. Everyone is happy with the results. An old impotent senile man who is controlled by China and will abandon Trump’s trade wars. Check. Republicans controlling the Senate to block Democrat tax cuts. Check.

Even Melania and Trump’s family is happy. Trump gets to say he wuz robbbbbed the rest of his life and remains a cult hero to 73 Million. He can go back and run his business, run a new media empire, write books, give speeches, or just retire and play golf (he deserves it!). Winning the White House has been very hard on the Trump family.

I know the President is pissed and hates losing but if he had to lose and it was always a possibility because simple demographic change (a lot of his 2016 votes in the Rust Belt have died, moved to Florida, or were Democrats who simply hated Hillary more than Trump and Biden was acceptable to them and swung back). And Arizona and Georgia are swinging left hard because of Californication and New Yorkification.

The Uniparty is a coin with Republican written on one side and Democrat written on the other.

Every year the coin is flipped.

The result is always The Uniparty.

Problem is, they just lost the Trump coalition, the black, hispanic and asian voters that lined up behind Trump did not line up behind the GOP.

IT IS PAST TIME FOR A GOPeXIT.

I see no value in voting for those spineless RINOs. I am done. Either we have a bank of GOP America First Candidates or I will not vote period. Don't lecture me about “if you do that you are in fact voting for the RATS.” I voted for our RINOs to protect Trump from further impeachment and lawless attacks. NO Trump, NO America First GOP, I just do not give a “F” anymore.

The swamp is safe once again. Back to our normal graft, corruption, and gaslighting the citizens.

Hoo rah!

We are witnessing unprecedented, systemic in your face vote fraud the likes we've never seen.

Georgia was one of the key states they corrupted.

Why would anyone think those 2 GA senate seats will not experience the very same fraud?

If they are successful in stealing those GA senate seats (and right now the odds look in their favor) either by (R)'s staying home because their pissed...and/or, due to the same fraud....there will be no taking back the house in 2022 for the (R)'s and there will likely be +4 new (D) senators added to the 100 as well as a packed court.

The future structure of our country rests solely with the state of Georgia and whether or not they have fraud again, or somehow they prevent what happened just 5 weeks ago.

A very cogent analysis. The GOP in 2016 probably thought the best outcome is a Hillary presidency while they control the House and Senate. This would allow the GOP to fund-raise off of evil Hillary (and she was horrible) but Hillary would get full support from the GOP to do free trade and neocon regime change wars - something the Democrats would have not been fully on board with.

Now with Biden in the GOP thinks (some think so anyway) they can return to being the party of free trade and cheap foreign labor.
