Timing is another one of those "things" about politics, no law that I am aware of. Ethics maybe; what is ethical about politicians (Or those trying to protect some) anyway?

Apparently it has not occurred to dimwits that the investigation was not completed until now. Good investigators do not announce results pf criminal investigations until they’re ready for the action.
