The other side is holding its breath that the Charlie Browns will hold their fire. The squishy midsters don’t want to see blood shed and they know that the violent left will react if things don’t go their way...they are hoping that the more conservative folks will just shrug their shoulders and go away.
The center is trying to hold by denying the justice to the righteous by appeasing the appetites of the wicked. The wicked will eat the center alive. It is no longer righteous to be centrist.
The supreme court is showing itself to be more centrist. The majority of the Supreme Court are all Catholic. They cannot escape the church’s influence in terms of the hierarchical legacy of the Catholic church.
