Most of Trump's picks came from a list created by The Federalist Society. It appears that the Federalist Society is mostly corporate whore lawyers who only care about the rights of corporations. In the past this might have been OK when the corporations were nominally conservative, but now they are woke.
So the Federalist Society recommendations are and were worthless. It would have been better if Trump had randomly picked divorce or accident lawyers from local phone books.
At least those lawyers wouldn't have been beholden to The DC Swamp.
Good point on Kavanaugh. So the Ds take the Senate, give statehood to Puerto Rico and DC which will be run as a “state” even worse than the s-hole of Maryland, which I would have thought impossible. They won’t need to pack the Court - it is obvious that Kavanaugh, Gorsuch and Barrett will join Roberts on all important issues. There may be some fringe voting on abortion and individual rights so the three of them keep up the appearance but not the substance of being conservative. But I see the rest of us being Californiacated - ballot harvesting, mail in voting, no ID checks will become nationwide laws and the so-called “conservative” Supreme Court won’t make a damned bit of difference, so let Schumer pack it.
