So States don’t have standing in how a the only elections for national offices are conducted?

The operation of elections is delegated to the states. In a sense there is no national election. Only 50 state elections. One state can't sue another state over how they conduct them. Saying they could would open up such things as suing other states over their redistricting.

Sorry, while I see what you are saying, then the homos had no standing to force homo marriage. And it was a state issue outside the jurisdiction of the federal courts. I could make a list a mile long where leftist causes had no standing.

But they will find standing when they want to hear a case and not find standing when they don’t. It’s a great judicial excuse. I am not surprised at all frankly. The Court does not want to be involved. The timid state legislators were hoping that 5 or 6 people would get them off the hook.
