I don't believe a Republican held State legislature needs to pass a law. The majority of votes rule and they get their one vote passed on to the House for counting. If a State Repub legislature majority rules - Trump wins since majority States have Repub controlled legislatures. Am I wrong? What am I missing other than threats and Rinos and political careers?
“I don’t believe a Republican held State legislature needs to pass a law.”
Actually they do because they passed laws that conceded their authority to appoint electors. And as we have seen, WI, MI, PA and the GA legislatures, all Republican controlled, have to wish to select their own slate of electors. The EC meets and votes in 2 days.
