I figure the US Supreme Court will void the certifications and tell the States redo the elections before December 14, 2020 without changing election laws that were approved by the state legislatures. If the states can’t, the Supreme Court could give them the option for the state legislature to choose the electors themselves or forfeit the votes in the electoral college.
