They violated their constitutions by allowing their SOS and Governors to impose voting policies that only the legislatures could approve.
Yes. That’s the entirety of the case before SCOTUS. But all SCOTUS can do, is order them to “unviolate it”. If the state wants their electors to be recognized, it is up to them to remedy this violation in a constitutional manner. I don’t see how SCOTUS could do anything else.
SCOTUS should rule that their popular election was invalid. But they will punt it back to the state’s legislative branches to remedy it.
They could possibly impose a deadline to ensure the resolution is in place in time to be heard again, but I can’t see what else they could do.

SCOTUS can’t do anything else. Only martial law can remedy this through a revote. It will not happen if it goes back to the legislature.
