Roberts is in the minority now, so yeah, either Alito or Gorsuch are leading a 5-4 decision right now.

And I've pointed this out repeatedly. There are only in extremis remedies - void the current vote and order a new vote, or void the current void and remand to the legislatures for a slate of electors.

I’m not qualified to make predictions, but it seems the second remedy you point to has more of a chance should the SCOTUS deign to hear it.
