I graduated high school in 1973. Every teacher I had except one were rational and competent and had (and taught) critical thinking and reasoning skills. Most of the professors I had in college and grad school were rational libertarians and were good teachers. I find the lack of critical thinking and reasoning skills required for a rational analysis to solve a problem are rare. It is past time to clean house in our schools and universities.
